A bit about me

A global Content Strategist focusing on making companies more human, inclusive, and welcoming. I have users at the center of conversations and experiences,  and I design content and build strategies around those needs that help businesses hit their goals. A lot of businesses don't even realise they might have a problem, and I also tackle problem identification, user research and aligning stakeholders. At my latest gig in China's e-commerce group Alibaba, I was working in the global user experience team as a UX content strategist for close to 4 years.

My love for traveling, languages and cultures has led me to excel in localization and empowering North American and European businesses and user groups. I believe in the power of collaboration and if you asked my colleagues and teammates they would vouch for it. That, and with a whole lot of coffee, and optimism, I'm an overall fun person to work with.  

When I'm not working you can also find me trying out different cuisines, watching K-drama, diving somewhere in Asia or reading up on books. I am a part-time foster parent, and a full-time coffee addict.

2:1 honors in Advertising & Design. Learned critical thinking, research and insight building skills along with understanding the business side of advertising and marketing companies. Understood the usage of psychology in advertising and how to use it to create a desire for products.

  • Led an end-to-end cross-business project and set up workflows and established processes. Revamped key pages across the core buyer flow and improved conversion rate and user experience score for the tracking page post revamp. 

  • Led Content team for mini games in 2021 biggest sale 11.11 for AliExpress. Single-handedly provided direction to 5 interactive games that drove over 2.8 million DAUs for our app.

  • I am also providing mentorship to new content designers, UX writers and content project managers.

  • Crafted PR pitch emails to help support the crowdfunding projects with an average CTR & open rate of 54%.

  • Crafted crowdfunding campaign pages and landing pages for PrintPen (a portable printer) that successfully raised US $472,532 and came to life by being backed by more than 3k backers based in the US. 

  • Empowered Chinese start-ups to help their ideas come to life by being backed by people from the US and Europe.

  • Crafted crowdfunding campaign pages and landing pages for Keychron,UFactory, SunFounder and other consumer electronic startups.

  • Build brand identities and handled social media marketing and community on platforms like Instagram, and Facebook.
